마르 13,24-32 연중 제33주일(세계 가난한 이의 날)

이 복음 말씀을 묵상하며
또 다가오고 있는 대림을 준비하며
성탄은 기다리면서도
다시 오실 예수님은 기다리지 않고 있음을 느꼈습니다.
아마도 내가 그런 일을 보게 될 리가 없다는
생각을 하고 있었기 때문이겠지요.
이럴 때마다 제 신앙의 상태를 보게 됩니다.
그 날에 나는 두렵고 무서운 마음으로
그분을 만나는 것이 아니라
사랑하는 사람을 기다리는 마음으로
그분을 만나고 싶습니다.

✠ 마르코가 전한 거룩한 복음입니다. 13,24-32
그때에 예수님께서 제자들에게 말씀하셨다.
24 “그 무렵 큰 환난에 뒤이어 해는 어두워지고 달은 빛을 내지 않으며
25 별들은 하늘에서 떨어지고 하늘의 세력들은 흔들릴 것이다.
26 그때에 ‘사람의 아들이’ 큰 권능과 영광을 떨치며
‘구름을 타고 오는 것을’ 사람들이 볼 것이다.
27 그때에 사람의 아들은 천사들을 보내어,
자기가 선택한 이들을 땅끝에서 하늘 끝까지 사방에서 모을 것이다.
28 너희는 무화과나무를 보고 그 비유를 깨달아라.
어느덧 가지가 부드러워지고 잎이 돋으면 여름이 가까이 온 줄 알게 된다.
29 이와 같이 너희도 이러한 일들이 일어나는 것을 보거든,
사람의 아들이 문 가까이 온 줄 알아라.
30 내가 진실로 너희에게 말한다. 이 세대가 지나기 전에 이 모든 일이 일어날 것이다.
31 하늘과 땅은 사라질지라도 내 말은 결코 사라지지 않을 것이다.
32 그러나 그 날과 그 시간은 아무도 모른다.
하늘의 천사들도 아들도 모르고 아버지만 아신다.”
주님의 말씀입니다.

Gospel Mk 13:24-32
Jesus said to his disciples:
“In those days after that tribulation
the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light,
and the stars will be falling from the sky,
and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
 
“And then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in the clouds’
with great power and glory,
and then he will send out the angels
and gather his elect from the four winds,
from the end of the earth to the end of the sky.
 
“Learn a lesson from the fig tree.
When its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves,
you know that summer is near.
In the same way, when you see these things happening,
know that he is near, at the gates.
Amen, I say to you,
this generation will not pass away
until all these things have taken place.
Heaven and earth will pass away,
but my words will not pass away.
 
“But of that day or hour, no one knows,
neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.”
